Citizen Smith are a scintillating garage rock band that are heavily influenced by the underground and melodic sounds of west coast acts, of both the late 1960s and the early 70s. It will probably come as no surprise, that In close memory, they have been likened to - Tom Petty, The Doors and Big Star too. This sublime sound is brought to you by a band with a fascinating past. Singer/songwriter Paul Smith, previously of The Black Sharks and Lazlo heads the lineup, with bassist Bob Holderness (Meltones), Shane O’Linski on keyboards (The Cold Front + The Gore Vidals) and Giles Davies (Colourform) on the drums. Additional vocalist, Ben Wilson, melodically completes the team. Citizen Smith’s new album is set for release in Autumn 2025. Catch them while you can.
