Folk Music Night With Pedro Danger and Friends

Wednesday, 16 April 2025 at 18:00 at The Holloway, Norwich

Local folk music heroes take the mic in the bookshop! Noa Cain is an indie musician based in Norwich, blending thoughtful lyrics with rich, vocal-driven melodies. Influenced by the likes of Leonard Cohen, Hozier, and a childhood love of folk and jazz. Jim Holland is a singer-songwriter, blending English and American folk revival. He combines intricate fingerstyle guitar with thoughtful lyrics about everything from loss to deforestation. Taking inspiration from ’60s and ’70s greats, as well as early train blues, Jim’s lyrical approach to songwriting has been likened to Bob Dylan and Paul Simon. Pedro danger brings a bit of guitar playing, some melodies, and not a lot of class. Enjoy an eclectic performance with a beer and or a loved one. Peter Turrell’s classical and baroque arrangements cannot be summed up by words…partly because he didn’t provide a bio for this. Don’t miss Peter’s incredible performance!
