(SOLDOUT) Folk Union Presents: East Anglia as a Folk Landscape

Sunday, 1 March 2026 at 18:00 at The Holloway, Norwich

The second Folkmoot is being held at The Holloway in Norwich where I will be joined by guests to talk about East Anglia and its reputation, role and place as a ‘folk landscape’ in the folk revival scene today. East Anglia (and Norfolk in particular) is one of a handful or highly romaticised folk landscapes with the bleak and flat fenland, England’s haunted Atlantis in Dunwich, Suffolk and, of course, the lgend of the black shuck. Join Simon Nunn, The East Anglian Folklore Centre, Mike Hankin and more to discuss what this all means for the area, whether this attention should be celebrated as an opportunity or whether it’s doing more harm than good.
