The Holloway Drawing Club with Tom Lamprell

Saturday, 24 May 2025 at 13:00 at The Holloway, Norwich

Tom Lamprell is a painter amongst other things…first and foremost, a drawer. Tom will be leading the sessions and as the group continues will be inviting other artists to input taking classes to expand on the diversity of experiences. At the Holloway drawing club we will be exploring the development of one’s continuous personal approach in the practice of drawing within the support of a group. Developing practical skills and propagating a personal confidence in the language of observation and its translation to the page. Life drawing, drawing from life, drawing from imagination and story and holding the space and time for consistent drawing in life. Subjects and contexts will be varied from session to session, weather and group interest dependent. Basic materials will be provided so please just turn up to start in the conversation.
