Passepartout Duo (USA/IT) + Garden Centre + More!

Thursday, 4 June 2026 at 19:00 at The Holloway, Norwich

Formed by two nomadic musicians, Passepartout Duo makes music that has been variously described as experimental electronic, post-minimal, ambient. Their live set is brought to life through an ecosystem of DIY musical instruments developed through the years. Their work is defined by a focused exploration of multilayered rhythms and simple melodies, exposing process-driven music that lives in between composition and improvisation, electronic and acoustic sound. The two musicians cultivate a quiet intensity that draws listeners into the inner mechanics of sound itself. Garden Centre is a UK-based "gnome-pop" or erratic art-pop band led by Max Levy, featuring members of Porridge Radio, Joanna Gruesome, and King of Cats. Known for quirky, DIY-style music focusing on themes of suburban boredom, nature, and industrial debris, they have released several albums, including Searching for a Stream (2023) and Monster Energy (2017).
